I graduated with a BA (Hons) Ceramic Design degree from Glasgow School of Art in 1996 then followed a career in community art until 2010. That year I moved to the Highlands and set up my pottery studio on the banks of the Moray Firth. The natural environment I live in has strongly influenced both the work I produce and the materials I use.
In 2013 I travelled to Denmark on a residency to research and develop experimental clay printing techniques and a trip to Iceland in 2014 led to a series of pots inspired by the volcanic and glacial landscape.
I sell my studio pottery collections through my online Etsy shop and I make one off pieces for exhibitions throughout the UK.
